I know what you’re thinking – Healthy Brownies? Healthy? Really?
Now before you go telling people that I’ve gone crazy, read this recipe and give it a whirl. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
What makes this brownie recipe healthier than most others is that the recipe doesn’t call for refined white sugars.

Prep time of 20 minutes. Cooking time of 25 minutes. Yields 16 slices.
Ingredients
2/3 c. Honey
1/3 c. Cocoa (natural and unsweetened)
1/2 c. Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Egg
3/4 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/2 c. All-Natural Applesauce
Directions
Place honey in glass measuring cup. Microwave until the honey is runny. Add cocoa. Stir and cool. In a separate bowl, mix together all dry ingredients. In another separate bowl, mix together applesauce, oil, egg and vanilla. Add to it the honey mixture. Then add the dry ingredient mixture. Spray pan with olive oil spray and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
